Dr. Chandrashekar Yavagal

Prof. Chandrashekar Yavagal is an Internationally acclaimed clinician, speaker and Post Doctorate researcher on Lasers, Paediatric Dentistry and Paediatric Orthodontics. A University topper at BDS and Gold medalist MDS in Paediatric dentistry, he went on to complete his Diploma in Orthodontics from Orthodontic World Institute (OWI), Barcelona & PhD with Post Doctorate DSc in Laser Biophotonics. He is Certified by American Board of Laser Surgery for Pediatric & Neonatal TOTS. He currently serves as Professor of Paediatric & Laser Dentistry, College of Dental Sciences, Rajiv Gandhi University, Karnataka, India and as Vice-President, College for Light Medicine & Laser Therapy, Germany. Dr. Yavagal is the India President of the Asia Pacific Laser Institute, Associate Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute, Life Member of the European Medical Laser Association and Executive Board Member of WALT (World Association for Photobiomodulation Therapy). He has more than 100 publications in National and International peer reviewed journals and has conducted more than 300 lectures, webinars & Training workshops in India, Singapore, Kuwait, France, Spain & Taiwan. He was recently awarded a UK design patent for the World's first Exclusive Laser for Paediatric Dentistry.
