Dr. Deependra V Singh

Dr. Deependra has a rich experience of 21 years in the field of ophthalmology including 18 years in Vitreoretinal Surgery. Dr. Deependra completed his MBBS in 1997 and MD Ophthalmology from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Center for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS in 2001. He then pursued Senior Registrar ship (3-year Retina Fellowship) and continued as Senior Research Associate (pool Job) in Retinal Surgery at AIIMS, finishing in 2005. He has been Practicing Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at NCR for the past 18 years and has more than 10,000 Vitreo-retinal surgeries to his credit. Currently, He is Director and Head of Vitreoretinal Services at Eye-Q Super-specialty Eye Hospitals (India) and Chief Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Eye-Q hospitals Gurugram. He has authored 65 publications, 14 book chapters, Reviewer for 8 journals including Ophthalmology (American Academy of Ophthalmology), JCRS, JMCR. He has also deliberated on more than 150 occasions in different national and international conferences. He is also Heading Scientific Committee and Fellowship Programme at Eye-Q Superspecialty Eye Hospitals. He is Secretary to Ethics Committee at Eye-Q Superspecialty Eye Hospitals and involved in research projects. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including the “Best resident Award” at AIIMS and the “Teachers Award” by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Deependra specializes in Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal detachment, Paediatric Retinal Diseases, Macular Degeneration, and Macular Holes, Ocular Trauma, Oncology, and Genetic diseases of the Retina
