We had a very good experience with Dr. Ansar My nephew has distal RTA, so we are always very careful before showing him to any pediatrician. When we went to Dr. Ansar’s clinic, the child was having very high fever (103.5) due to infection. Doctor calmly checked all the reports and also read the instructions given by our nephrologist. He immediately understood the situation and gave medicines according to the child’s condition. He told us to give the first dose in the clinic itself and explained that if fever goes up, there is a chance of seizures. Because of this timely action, the fever came down within a few hours, and by next day the child was completely normal. Earlier also, we had gone to a senior pediatrician from Apollo Hospital, who suggested waiting till Monday and consulting the nephrologist in OP. Since we were not fully satisfied, we came to Dr. Ansar for a second opinion. After checking the reports properly, he told us that the electrolytes very imbalanced and potassium was very high, which can affect the heart. He immediately advised us to go to emergency and get the child admitted. Later in the hospital, even the nephrologist confirmed that it was the right decision to admit the child on Saturday itself, as the electrolytes were very much imbalanced and potassium levels were risky. Dr. Ansar has very good attention to detail and does not ignore small things. He is very kind, humble, and explains everything patiently. We feel safe consulting him. Genuine and responsible pediatrician. Highly recommended, especially for kids with serious medical conditions.
