First Medical Oncologist of Malabar region  Selected as one among twelve world leaders in Oncology by American Cancer Society (ASCO) in 2018. A senior medical oncologist who set up the first comprehensive cancer care unit and the first BMT unit in the Malabar region of Kerala who has been extending a helping hand to cancer patients by providing state of the art cancer treatment,Research and beginning a Cancer survivors group and a cancer drug bank , flag bearer in fighting a war against tobacco usage since 2 decades and was instrumental in establishing a State Of The Art Cancer Care hospital in Calicut -MVR Cancer Centre and Research Institute-that provides world class cancer care treatment at affordable rates , with a novel financial support program.  Experienced in setting up Oncology Clinic to large standalone cancer centre in India.  Editorial board member and Peer reviewer for Indian Journal of Medical and Peadiatric Oncology.  Involved in social activities such as developing Cancer Awareness in Public. Has delivered more than 500 public speeches, Television and Radio interviews so far.  Formed a Cancer Survivor’s group -“Prateeksha “and involved in patient support program.  Lead role in organising more than 500 camps for early detection of cancer.  Lead role in anti-tobacco activities in India and became instrumental in banning tobacco in the state of Kerala.  Providing 24 hr Cancer helpline which provides psychological counseling for cancer patients since the last 20 years.  Organised 3 international and about 50 national Oncology conferences.
