Undergoing treatment under Dr. Nitin for lung cancer since April, 2023. He spends a lot of time with his patients, explaining the intricacies in a simple manner. Prescribes the necessary tests and chooses the right treatment methods available, avoiding unnecessary chemo if alternative target therapy methods are available. I am satisfied being treated by him till date. Dr Nitin Yashas completely took care of all my Chemo sessions. There were 8 sessions in total. 4 before my surgery and 4 post surgery. At the start itself he informed me in detail about the nature of the treatment the nature of the side effects and how to manage it. Each session was handled professionally and his well trained team was highly motivating during the treatment making it easy to withstand. He was available at any time inbetween sessions to clarify doubts in a very reassuring manner. Post surgery also the sessions went on as scheduled and Dr Nithin's reassuring guidance made it possible to complete the treatment smoothly. Everything went on the same lines as he had explained. Post the treatment also he has scheduled periodic reviews and it gives me and my family a comfortable feeling that we are in good hands. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer 3rd stage last year, she had to undergo 1 year long treatment in Manipal Hospital Jayanagar, we are very happy to have Dr. Nitin Yashas as my mother’s medical oncologist. Prior to her breast removal surgery, my mother underwent target therapy and chemo therapy as she was diagnosed with HER-2 Positive breast cancer. The medication was effective the tumour had shrunk. He is very thorough and caring. He explained everything clearly and patiently so we could understand the problem and decide accordingly. He told us all the options and helped us throughout the course of treatment. Always on time, compassionate, empathetic, easy to talk and relates exceptionally well. He is great with his patients and spends as much time as needed and boosts to have positive attitude.
