We have been consulting Dr. Nitin Yashas Murthy for my mother’s treatment for invasive carcinoma of the breast stage III triple negative, and our experience with him has been exemplary, both clinically and humanely. She was planned for neoadjuvant systemic therapy, comprising 3-weekly chemotherapy for 4 cycles, followed by weekly chemotherapy for 12 cycles, along with 3-weekly immunotherapy for 17 cycles. Throughout treatment, Dr. Nitin demonstrated meticulous attention to treatment response, laboratory parameters, and toxicity management, with clear, evidence based decision making at every stage. She demonstrated an excellent clinical and radiological response with complete resolution of disease, following which she underwent a complete mastectomy with lymph node dissection, and subsequently adjuvant radiation therapy. After studying all reports and PET CT, he assured there was no need for chemo and this type of cancer can be treated with advanced hormonal therapy and cell cycle inhibitors.
