Dr. Pankaj Gupta

Dr. Pankaj Gupta is a Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi. He is a highly trained Chest & TB Specialist and Interventional Pulmonologist with extensive experience in respiratory medicine, critical care, sleep medicine and advanced pulmonary procedures. He completed his MBBS and MD in Respiratory Medicine & Tuberculosis from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, followed by advanced training in critical care, pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine. He pursued DM in Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi (2016–2019) and FSM Fellowship in Sleep Medicine (2018–2019). He also completed DNB in Respiratory Medicine at Safdarjung Hospital (2017–2018) and IDDM Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at BLK-Max Hospital, Delhi (2014–2016). Dr. Gupta has served as Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital (2021–2025), Associate Consultant in Pulmonary Medicine at Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh (2019–2021), and Senior Resident in Critical Care Medicine at BLK Hospital, Delhi (2014–2016). His areas of expertise include asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease, pleural diseases, sleep-related breathing disorders, respiratory failure, critical care, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopy, EBUS and interventional pulmonology.
