Dr. Apoorva H is Dermatologist with 8 yrs of experience. He is the senior consultant at Charma Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics He completed his undergraduation in medicine(MBBS) in 2009 from AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore and his post graduation (DDVL) in dermatology from JN Medical College, Belagavi in 2013. He worked at Cutis Academy of Cutaneous Sciences under the metorship of renowned dermatologist, Dr B S Chandrashekar. He also trained with a renowned dermatologist known for his innovative techniques in lasers and dermatosurgery, Dr Avituus John Raakesh at S P Derma Center Madurai. He completed his fellowship in dermatologic laser surgery at King Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. He has attended several training programmes in dermatology focussing on injectables (Botulinum Toxin, Fillers, mesotherapy, growth factors) in anti ageing and rejuvenation of skin. He has been a speaker on topics ranging from Psoriasis, Atopic dermatitis, Androgenetic Alopecia, Urticaria, Fungal infections and various other dermatological conditions. He has also presented his experience in using Lasers for various skin disorders in various conferences. In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar, listening to music, attending music festivals, concerts and travelling the globe and exploring various cultures and cuisines. He also loves outdoor activities like hiking, swimming and trekking. He is a fitness enthusiast and educates his patients on leading a healthy lifestyle with exercise and following a good, balanced diet. His areas of interest are acne and dermatosurgery. As a dermatologist, he also frequently encounters a growing number of sexually transmitted infections and advises his patients on safe sexual practices.
