Dr. Simantini Sircar is a highly qualified and experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist, holding an MBBS, MS, and DNB degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her MBBS from The West Bengal University of Health Sciences. She bagged Honours in many a subjects and is also a Gold Medalist. Following her MBBS, Dr. Sircar pursued Master of Surgery (MS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the University of Delhi. To further her specialization, Dr. Sircar obtained Diplomate of National Board (DNB) from the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She has also passed MRCOG Part 1 with flying colours. Dr. Sircar has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care to women. Her extensive experience spans various aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, including prenatal and postnatal care, high-risk pregnancies, infertility treatments, and minimally invasive gynecological surgeries. She is known for her compassionate approach, ensuring that her patients receive personalized and holistic care. Her commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in medical science and technology enables her to offer the best possible treatments and outcomes for her patients. She is also interested in academic excellence and upgradation for which she keeps on attending a Clinical Seminars and CMEs. Her thesis has been published in many a journals including BJOG. She has presented her research on “Role of Vitamin D supplementation in antenatal women at high risk of developing Gestational Diabetes Mellitus” in RCOG World Congress, London in 2021 which was highly appreciated by the delegates from all over the world. She is a prolific writer with great clinical accumen which made her author the book “Quest - A comprehensive guide to UG Surgery, Orthopaedics and Anesthesiology” for MBBS students back in 2016. Over the years, 5 editions of the book have been published and has been warmly welcomed by Undergraduate MBBS students all over the country.
