Ayurveda has always been a matter of great interest for me since early childhood. I was deeply intrigued when I came to know that Ayurveda is an annihilator of diseases and enabler for immunity. Notwithstanding with that, the discussions at our home related to the traditional medicine system and its empirical efficacy till date further motivate me to chose Ayurveda as a career. My career as Ayurveda practitioner starts after the completion of BAMS. I have had more than 14 years of experiences in Ayurveda. As I understand, Ayurveda can potentially provide remedy for all kinds of diseases if practiced in line the methodology outlined in Samhitas and scriptures. The discipline of Ayurveda investigates the root causes of the problem and facilitates amicable solution for the said problem. The common misconception that Ayurvedic medicines work slow, it is meant for only chronic condition, no treatment for acute diseases, cannot relief pain faster could be because of deviating from the instructed procedure mentioned in Samhitas. My interest mainly focused on effective pain management strategy. In this direction, I explored various therapies like Acupuncture, Sujok, Reflexology etc. When studying all the subjects I found that all these sciences are stemmed from different concepts/sidhhants given in the Samhitas. Further, I learnt the Marma Vigyan which can be considered as the foundation of all these sciences and Yoga. Marma therapy is most effective and easy tools for pain management. Another best pain relief tools are Viddha karma and Agni Karma. We practice it in combination called Vidhhagni, which has found to be highly effective for all acute painful condition. Furthermore, I learnt the Quantum Mechanics, where the fundamental concepts are in line with Padartha Vigyan, and Samhitas. By using these Quantum phenomena, we can not only heal the body, but also able to heal all levels of Human consciousness, which is the holistic aim of Ayurveda.
