Dr. Sriramadesigan R

Dr. Sriramadesigan R is an accomplished medical professional with a strong foundation in both academics and extracurricular activities. His early education was completed at the esteemed St. Patrick's School in Pondicherry, where he excelled in academics and participated actively in various sports, winning numerous trophies. Following his successful schooling, Dr. Sriramadesigan pursued his MBBS at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, graduating in 2017. He then gained valuable experience working as a junior resident in various hospitals and clinics until 2020. During the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, he served at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute (IGMCRI) and Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMCH), earning a Covid Warrior certificate for his dedicated service. In 2020, Dr. Sriramadesigan began his MD in Psychiatry at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital. Throughout his postgraduate studies, he actively participated in various conferences, presenting both posters and oral presentations. His scholarly contributions include the publication of an article on the lunar effect on mental illness. He completed his MD in Psychiatry in flying colours. Since August 2023, Dr. Sriramadesigan has been working as a Senior Resident at Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SLIMS). His extensive experience and dedication to the field of psychiatry make him a valuable asset to the medical community.
