This Oral Health unit provides specialist treatment and advice on treatment for special needs patients suffering from oral conditions which are beyond the scope of general dentists. Our comprehensive oral care is extended for individuals who are mentally, physically or intellectually compromised, and who also need backup facilities of a hospital. Appropriate oral care under general anaesthetic is also provided on need basis. Patients who require tertiary hospital support for their comprehensive dental treatment are also eligible. Referrals are accepted from private general practitioners, medical specialists, dental therapists, hospital based clinicians and also self referrals.
