Patil is a well-known obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 22 years in the field. She began her career as an Assistant Professor at one of Karnataka’s esteemed universities, SDM Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad. Dr Manjula has worked in seven different districts across Karnataka, both as faculty and a private practitioner, gaining a wealth of experience in addressing women’s health needs and expectations. Having delivered over 6,000 babies, Dr Manjula is recognised for her expertise in high vaginal and instrumental deliveries. She is also known for performing rare obstetric surgeries, such as caesarean myomectomy (fibroid removal during caesarean section) and emergency cerclage (stitching an open cervix).
