Dr. Mukundan Subramanian

Dr Mukundan Subramanian is an ENT Surgeon with more than 16 years of clinical experience. He completed his MBBS and MS in ENT from Nagpur University following which he trained in Head & Neck Oncology & obtained DU-CCF (Diploma in Head & Neck Oncology) from the University of South Paris-XI, Paris in 2012. He was Faculty & Consultant at Sri Ramchandra Hospital, Porur from 2009- 2019 and also in-charge of the Sri Ramachandra Voice & Swallowing Clinic. Apart from offering a wide range of ENT services in adults and children, Dr Mukundan has two main subspeciality interests: the first being Dizziness & Vertigo and the other on the management of disorders of the throat, swallowing & voice. Dr Mukundan has been awarded Masters & Post Graduate Diploma in Swallowing Disorders from the European Society of Swallowing Disorders at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona from 2018- 2020. He is a regularly invited speaker at several National scientific meetings on the topic of Dysphagia and has won been awarded for his clinical work and research. He has a large dizziness patient base over the last 4 years and to that effect he has completed Certificate Course awarded by the Yenepoya University in 2022 on Assessment & Management of Vestibular Disorders. At Smriti Speciality Klinics, in addition to routine ENT services, Dr Mukundan heads a one stop Specialized Vertigo Clinic committed to improve the quality of life in people with Vertigo, Dizziness & Balance problems by educating them and providing compassionate, state of the art, ethical care on their journey back to balance.
