Dr Neha Chauhan is an alumnus of some of the best central universities in the country and has always been a rank holder and merit student throughout her schooldays, as well as during her training as a doctor, surgeon, and plastic surgeon.
She completed her MBBS and MS from Aligarh Muslim University, which ranks amongst the top ten universities in India for medical education, as a gold medallist. She then did a year of residency in plastic surgery at Safdarjung Hospital, the largest training institute of plastic surgery in India. Dr Chauhan later qualified for the entrance exam at Safdarjung Hospital, ranking first in the country. She pursued her MCh from this institute, which is aptly regarded as the “Kashi of Plastic Surgery,” due to having some of the finest teachers in the country.
She has extensive experience in general plastic surgery, aesthetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, paediatric plastic surgery, microsurgery, and burns. Her special fields of interest are aesthetic surgery and paediatric plastic surgery. She further followed her passion for aesthetic surgery by undertaking fellowships in cosmetic surgery, lasers, and rhinoplasty, training with some of the best mentors in India and abroad.
She specialises in procedures such as facelifts, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation/reduction/breast-lift, abdominoplasty (tummy tucks)/liposuction, other body contouring procedures, and aesthetic genital surgery such as labia minora/majora rejuvenation procedures and vaginoplasties. She also has a special interest in paediatric plastic surgeries like cleft lip/palate, congenital hand deformities, paediatric burns/injuries, and other procedures related to the paediatric age group.
Her vision is to provide excellent and natural results in line with international standards while maintaining high standards of ethics and compassion towards her patients.
In her free time, she is an avid reader, painter, and writer.
