About the doctor
Dr. Yadav has a rich and illustrious career. He began his urology journey at Medanta – The Medicity under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Ahlawat in the Department of Urology, Renal Transplant, and Robotics after completing his Master’s in General Surgery. Dr. Yadav was selected for the M.Ch. course in Urology at the prestigious King George’s Medical University in Lucknow, serving from 2010 to 2013. Following his graduation, he joined Max Super Specialty Hospital in Saket, Delhi, as a consultant in Dr. Anant Kumar’s team, where he honed his skills in advanced laparoscopic urological surgeries, kidney transplants, and robotic urological surgeries Later, Dr. Yadav became the Head of the Department at Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital in Delhi, where he established the first dedicated Urology and Kidney Transplant department in East Delhi. Under his leadership, the department received accolades for offering comprehensive urology services, including laparoscopic and reconstructive surgeries, endourology, uro-oncology, and andrology. In November 2018, he joined Apollomedics Super Speciality Hospital in Lucknow, where he successfully established a fully functional Urology and Kidney Transplantation unit. Dr. Yadav later took on the role of Director of Urology, Andrology, Kidney Transplantation, Robotic Uro-Oncology, and Renal Sciences at Tender Palm Super Speciality Hospital, where he built a fully operational unit until mid-June 2024. As a Chief Kidney Transplant Surgeon at Charak Super Speciality Hospital and later at Wellsun Super Speciality Hospital, Dr. Yadav was instrumental in setting up operational kidney transplantation units at both institutions. He is the only kidney transplant surgeon in Lucknow to have established fully operational kidney transplantation programs at five major super-speciality hospitals in the region, excelling in various kidney transplant techniques, including ABO compatible and incompatible transplants, paediatric kidney transplantation, and complex high-risk cases.
