Dr. Rajeev Ranjan is the Director of Cardiovascular Anesthesia at Jay Prabha Medanta Super Specialty Hospital in Patna. He completed his MBBS from Rajendra Medical College, Ranchi, and his MD from Patna Medical College. He further specialized with a PDCC from SGPGIMS, Lucknow.
Dr. Ranjan has expertise in the ICU care of critically ill patients, administering cardiac anesthesia, cardiac transplant perioperative care, and performing transesophageal echocardiography. Before joining Jay Prabha Medanta, he worked with Medanta Gurugram.
He has authored several articles in both Indian and international journals. Dr. Ranjan was also part of the team that launched the Heart Transplant Program at Medanta Gurugram and Medanta Indore. Under his leadership, the ECMO program was successfully started at Medanta Patna.
