About:-Dr Sunil S. Raikar is a fetal medicine specialist who practises at Ovum Woman and Child Speciality Hospital in Kalyan Nagar, Bangalore. He completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and his MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from AIIMS, Jodhpur. Later, he pursued his fellowship in fetal medicine at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
His work involves comprehensive obstetric scans, diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound fetal procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, selective fetal reduction in complicated multiple pregnancies, and intrauterine blood transfusion. He also provides fetal medicine counselling and genetic counselling. He has a strong inclination towards academic and research areas alongside his clinical work.
