After completing his MD, he worked as a Senior Resident in the Dept. of General Medicine at AVBRH, Sawangi(M), Wardha gaining experience in the treatment of various medical conditions and management of patients in ICU.
Later, he worked as a Consultant Physician at Gandhi Nursing Home, Nagpur which is a 32-year-old multispeciality hospital in East Nagpur taking care of both OPD and IPD patients.
He then completed his super-specialisation in the branch of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology from Manipal Hospital, Bangalore where he worked for more than 2 years under the guidance of Dr. B.G Dharmanand & Dr. Ramesh Jois.
As a fellowship student, he was extensively trained in the diagnosis and management of Advanced Arthritis, Soft Tissue Rheumatism & Autoimmune disorders and in procedures like joint injections and skin biopsy.
During his training, he also participated in various teaching programmes, workshops, and gave presentations at Rheumatology conferences and CMEs.

Excellent treatment by Dr. Tanmay Gandhi sir. He is well known about treatment and medicine assistance. He is polite and most importantly give patience time to elaborate their problems specially with the new patient. He explain treatment plans and I visited more than 5 time to him and never seen a patient dissatisfied with him. He is the right choice as a rheumatologist in Nagpur or online . He also do frequent camp visits near the area of Nagpur.
