To generate your health ID, input health id NDHM gov.in login online to get your enrolment number. For this, you must give one of the following IDs -  Aadhaar ID,  mobile number, or driving license.

How to register for Digital health ID card?

You can create a digital health ID card using your Aadhaar, driving licence, or mobile number.

1. Create Digital health ID through Aadhar Card and Mobile Number

Follow simple steps to apply online for an NDHM health card via your Aadhaar number. In case you don't have an Aadhar card ready, you can still generate the Digital Health Id through a mobile number. The steps are nearly the same for Aadhar Card and Mobile Number updates, except for Step 2!

  • Step 1: Visit the Eka Care Health ID Registration Page or visit NDHM official website (https://healthid.ndhm.gov.in/).
  • Step 2 via Mobile No: Fill your Mobile number or
  • Step 2 via Aadhar: Choose "Generate using Aadhaar," type your Aadhaar number into the space provided, and then click the "Submit" button.
  • Step 3:  A One Time Password (OTP) has to be input that is provided to your registered mobile number.
  • Step 4: Enter your personal information, pick a username, and set a password to create your digital ID.
  • Step 5: Type your address into the login box and sign into your account using the username and password you just made once your health id registration is done.
  • Step 6: Download your digital health ID card for future use.

2. Create Digital health ID through Driving License

To obtain your digital health ID, you must present your enrollment number to a nearby participating facility. The processes for applying online for an NDHM health card using your driving licence are listed below (DL).

  • Step 1: Select "Generate ID" on the NDHM website (https://healthid.ndhm.gov.in/).
  • Step 2: Choose "Generate through Driving Licence."  You will receive an enrollment number once you submit the information.

However, you can generate the health ID using your Aadhaar number if required to use it immediately.

  • Step 1: Use the website or mobile app to log in to your account. Enter your health ID number and birthdate, then click the "Submit" button. Then one can go for health id login to explore more.
  • Step 2: To download your ID card, choose it and click on "Health Id Card Download."

How to deactivate health ID card?

The health ID card is optional, and you can wish to withdraw from the programme and reactivate it as needed. The steps to deactivate/delete your digital health ID are shown below.

  • Step 1: Log in using your health ID or PHR and birthdate, then press the "Submit" button.
  • Step 2: To log in to your account, you must generate an OTP using your Aadhaar or mobile number or enter your password.
  • Step 3: After logging in, select "My Account" and then "Deactivate/Disable Health ID" (deactivating your health ID will only be temporary and won't result in the closure of your account; you can also choose to delete it). Then click "Continue" to delete or deactivate your health ID.
