Important update to Eka.Care’s free tier — same mission, clearer limits

At Eka.Care, our mission is simple: empower doctors to deliver better care with tools that make clinical work faster, safer, and easier. To keep building securely and sustainably, we’re updating limits on the free plan. We know any change can be disruptive — we’re sharing this clearly and with care.


What’s changing

Starting September 1st 2025, the free plan will be limited by:

  • Access to patient data till the last 30 days : ensuring recent and active cases are always at your fingertips.
  • 1 GB of free patient data storage: enough for roughly 10,000 prescriptions.
  • One doctor seat: designed for independent practitioners who want a streamlined experience

Why this is happening

Operating a secure, compliant medical platform requires ongoing investment in storage, encryption, backups, and engineering. As we scale, these costs grow. These limits let us continue offering a useful free tier to individual doctors while funding the security, support, and features everyone depends on.

What this means for you

If you use Eka.Care for day-to-day outpatient care or short-term follow-ups, the free plan should still meet your immediate needs. If your practice needs long-term records, multiple users, or larger storage, our paid plans are built for clinics and include extended retention, additional seats, and more storage.We will notify affected users in advance and provide easy export tools so you can preserve important records.
